Celebrity Wedding in Merchant Hotel Belfast Northern Ireland
Professional Golfer Gareth Maybin married the stunningly beautiful Elizabeth McMeekin in a lavish ceremony in Belfast's Merchant Hotel. The morning started with Sean meeting the boys at the hotel for the "getting ready" shots. Boys will be boys and they left the Merchant Hotel quickly for a pint of Guinness in The Spaniard and a quick bet. In the meantime, Annette went to the brides home to capture the hairs, make up, getting ready and leaving home. The wedding was organised by David McConkey and his floral bouquets complimented the bridalwear and also the very chic surrounding of the Merchant Hotel. With the Chanel leather finish of the bar, the decadent surroudings and the flamboyant floral displays, the guests felt the excitment build even before the bride arrived. A jazz pianist played her into the room and I could not help but feel like the ratpack were about to perform. There is such a 50's elegance about the hotel setup. So very sophisticated and the perfect city centre venue. The cobblestoned streets, the tall buildings and general city feel allowed us to capture those trendy, funky shots along with the more elegant images we had taken earlier in the day. The Merchant has been recently renovated to cater for weddings and it is a fabulous location for atmosphere, location and photography. Here is a small selection of photographs taken on the day by Northern Ireland Wedding Photographers 4Ever Photos.
